Pani Poni DaifugouPani Poni Daifugou was a mobile game that started its service on 3.4.2006. It was purchasable through Square Enix' mobile store, where you could buy and download the game through mobile internet services i-mode (for a monthly subscription of 105 yen or for full price of 315 yen) and Vodafone live! (for full price of 210 yen). It was also available for EZweb service through Square Enix's Monthly GanGan mobile store. The first Pani Poni Daifugou game focused in the characters of 1-C class and was called as Pani Poni Daifugou 1-C Class. There was also a downloadable trial version, where you played against Himeko. In the first month since game's release, Square Enix launched "Pani Poni Present Campaign" as part of the launch of other "Pocket Puzzle" games. 1 player could get "Luxurious Lucky Bag Set" as the A prize and 99 others a "Fun Course" as the B prize. The campaign ended on 1.5.2006. On the same day campaign ended, version with the 1-D class students was released, called Pani Poni Daifugou 1-D Class. Both games had only 5 characters in them, which meant cutting rest of the students out. Miyako and 6-go (Sayaka) were cut from C, while Old Man, Miyata and Media were cut from D. The games were merged into one full game, Pani Poni Daifugou DX, which was released on 25.1.2007. After Square Enix ended its service for Pani Poni Millionaire and other Pocket Puzzle games on 30.4.2008, the game was sold as "outdated application" on Square Enix' mobile store (for 420 yen). It's unknown when the game was pulled out from the store. There doesn't exist gameplay footage of the game, only few screenshots. This image was used for the game on the mobile store: As the game's title suggests, you play Japanese card game Daifugou, which translates to "Grand Millionaire" or "Very Rich Man". In the game, the player fights against students (and teacher) to see who's the "richest man". In C, you fight against Himeko, Becky, Ichijou, Rei and Kurumi. In D, Serizawa, Behoimi, Nanjou, Inugami and Roboko. After you've defeated all the five characters, "that person" (as GAME Watch article emphasises) will appear as a hidden boss/character. There's no documentation who are these hidden characters in C and D versions. Here are screenshots of the game, the last one being the only screenshot of D version:
