Quick navigation: Class 1-C | Class 1-A | Class 1-B | Class 1-D | School Personnel(?) Class 1-CRebecca Miyamoto – Little Teacher for Your Acquaintance She’s a half-blooded girl born in the relationship of a Japanese father and an American mother, and she has a big sister. She’s a genius who graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the age of 10. Currently she’s the homeroom teacher of Momotsuki Academy Class 1-C, and she has taken the role as a mathematics teacher. Mesousa – An Unthinkable Creature Covered in Mysteries The mysterious rabbit that Becky brings to school. Its real name, gender, age and origin are all unknown, and in the first place, it’s unknown if it really is a rabbit. Somehow it can converse with humans. Is it a creature from Earth? Himeko Katagiri – Always in High Spirits! Probably the stupidest girl in Momotsuki Academy, and that peculiar mental world of hers is something other people find difficult to keep up with. She expresses her love to Becky, which might be a little bit of annoyance to Becky herself? But Himeko doesn’t seem to notice that at all. Rei Tachibana – Cold-Hearted Brains of Class C She has excellent grades, is good in anything from cooking to sports, and even has some unfamiliar knowledge such in things like white magic. She has an extraordinarily dangerous personality of a person who does unimaginable things when money is involved. Is one of her hobbies to tease Becky? Ichijou – Class Representative to whom Anything Goes The Class Representative of Class C. Due to how modest and restrained she looks like, you can’t imagine what she’ll do next. She would do unnecessary things and incur unexpected trouble, but would also pacify trouble with superhuman strength. Is it a convenient thing, or perhaps the origin of disasters? Miyako Uehara – Brain-Melting Forehead of Class C The swot student of Class C. She’s the only one in the class who behaves normally. She tries to act as an upstanding student, but even after saying so, she eventually ends up participating in the chaos Himeko and others cause. Maybe she’s good at socializing with unexpected people. Kurumi Momose – Main Example of a Plain Character She’s skilled in sports, but her grades are average. As she is just an ordinary female student with no particularly outstanding features, she doesn't stand out much inside Momotsuki Academy. She has the common sense of an average person, so she sometimes has trouble accepting the nonsensical circumstances that occur at the school. No. 6 (Sayaka Suzuki) – Tractable Good Girl of the Year The girl who has the catch phrase “X of the year”, when expressing something that’s best of the best. Her real name is Sayaka Suzuki, but since she is one of the six persons named as Suzuki at her school, she’s nicknamed as “No. 6”. Class 1-AMiyuki Igarashi – Deficient, Sake-Loving Teacher The homeroom teacher of Class 1-A and the science teacher, who gives out the vibe of an elder sister. A heavy drinker, nonchalant and whose lack of motivation even surpasses Becky, she’s the opposite to an ideal (?) teacher, making Class A students see her as an example of “Do not become an adult like this”. Yuuma and Yuuna Kashiwagi – Leave All Clothing-Related to Us! Identical twin sisters. Big sister Yuuma is the aggressive one, while little sister Yuuna is slightly quieter. They’re frequently mistaken as one another (meanwhile Igarashi-sensei has no intention in remembering them). Shu Momose – Solicitude is an Enemy Kurumi’s fraternal twin brother. He’s pretty skillful when it comes to cooking, even making lunch bento for Kurumi. On the other hand, he has a free-spirited personality and often skips school. Yuzuko Kurusu – The Hope? of Film Club A first-year member of the Film Research Club. Occasionally, she is called upon by the Intelligence Club to work alongside Watanuki. At few times, she’s a scatterbrain and says things she shouldn’t, making him get criticised by Igarashi-sensei and others. “Menopause” is a taboo word. Class 1-BSaotome-sensei – The Brisk and Energetic Youthful Teacher P.E. teacher who has a straightforward personality. Becky seems to speak to him in an informal manner, as if making fun of him. Then again, he once said “I’m a teacher because my dream was to become a teacher”, which made Becky envious, as she didn’t have any dreams. Hibiki Watanuki – I Will Disclose Any School Secret! A student belonging to the Student Council Intelligence Department. With the intention of disclosing school’s various secrets, she always runs around looking for them, but it never helps her cause. Conversely, her investigations often end in a failure and she has to repeatedly witness horrible things with her own eyes. Suzune Shiratori – Airheaded Girl with the Height of 172cm Massive and airheaded girl, who always looks absent-minded. She doesn’t think about everyday stuff too deeply, and even though she has no ill means, she’s unaware of her strength. For that reason, she spreads misfortune around her (especially to Otome). Saotome Akiyama – Small, but Full of Energy Class B student, who’s often seen together with Suzune. She is relatively good in athletics and is full of energy, but is a bit foul-mouthed, calling her teachers informally without honorifics. On top of that, she’s not good with studying, so will her school report be alright? Yankee – A Good-Natured Delinquent Real name unknown. As you can see, he’s a yankee. Even though he has the habit of occasionally skipping classes, it doesn’t seem out of a bad conduct. For some reason, he uses honorific speech when speaking with Watanuki, and he has a side that stands out as not very yankee-esque, like how his face is scary. Zula – Impactful and Exceptional Exchange Student Exchange student from overseas. For some reason, she is sometimes witnessed as someone who shouts around, but inside, she can get very serious. By the way, it’s said that during dubbing sessions the voice actor was convinced she is a man, but in actuality she’s a girl. Itou-san – An Extremely Normal Student Mob student of Class B. She’s a mob, so there’s a lot of her. The fact that there are so many of her means that she serves the role of an ordinary students that can be found anywhere. But when she appears on screen, her ordinary demeanor is incredibly powerful. Class 1-DOld Geezer – The Most Problematic Person in the Academy? Real name unknown. Homeroom teacher of Class D, as well as the Japanese language teacher. His age is also unknown, but judging from his appearance, there’s a possibility that he was born in the Taishō era(?). Despite his age, he often borrows Igarashi-sensei’s sports car and takes it for rides, which make him seem still young at heart. Behoimi – From a Magical Girl to a Plain Girl Originally, she was introduced as “The Alternative Cure Magical Girl”, but when the Magical Girl left returned to Magic Kingdom, the remaining Behoimi became a completely plain girl. For some reason, she seems to be experienced of battlefield, and has plenty of knowledge about poisons, explosions, and the like. Akane Serizawa – Costume-Loving Drama Club Member Attached to the Drama Club. More of a suit actress than a real actress, she’s often seen strutting around wearing various costumes, whether during class or not. There really hasn’t been a scene where you can see her properly playing an act... Misao Nanjou – Lady with the Hobby of Bragging about Her Pets Although her manner of speaking and appearance are ladylike, she has rarely shown any "ojou-sama" side of her. She often brings her pets to school to brag about them, hence there seems to be no appreciation from her towards surroundings. Tsurugi Inugami – Cool and Charge of Being the Straight Man Due to him being a quarter German, his silver hair and eyes stand out. He’s one of the only sensible persons (?) among the eccentric of Class D. In the midst of the circus-like class, he’s often the one who calmly and accurately points things out like a straight man does. Akira Miyata – Clumsy in Anything She Does Motion is no good, grades are no good, she’s a clumsy and hopeless girl, a Class D student who never achieves anything good and fails in everything she does. Her singing ability is unknown, but she has the dream of becoming an idol in the future. Let’s at least leave her alone with her dream... Media – Maid with Unknown Career Maid who served as the assistant of Professor who tutored Becky. She later enrolls to Momotsuki Academy, where her encounter with Behoimi, with whom she has a shared past on the battlefield (?), seems like a trick of fate. To come out unscathed from jumping off a helicopter and crashlanding into a boat, she’s pretty durable. Yuka Kitajima and Chinatsu Satou – Class D’s Class Rep Duo Both of them are Class Representatives of Class D. They sit next to each other and hang often together. Their unfortunate to not have any chances to speak up, perhaps because Class D is already full of eccentric people. Isobe and Ban – Wanna Have Them to Appear More? Class D students with a thin and lacking presence. Ban occasionally decides whether a ball is safe or out, while Isobe just appears on screen in scenes that aren't particularly important. School Personnel (?)Lord Cat – Lord of the Vending Machine? A mysterious life form that calls himself a god. The colour of his body changes depending on the day. He often hides himself inside the vending machine and heats drinks with the warmth of human (cat?) skin, his victim of this mainly being Mesousa. Giant Salamander – No Matter How You See It, It’s An Endangered Species It’s an endangered species that was discovered at the campsite and has since then taken up residence at the school. However, it has been appearing here and there on the edges of the screen even before that. Wasn’t it once eaten by the students? Saeko – Pestilence God in Training Self-proclaimed pestilence god trainee girl. It seems she's trying to become a full-fledged jinx by spreading misfortune to others, but that might be a bit of a nuisance. She appears casually in ordinary scenes too. Little Sister of Ichijou household – Kindergartener who Brews a Storm Ichijou’s little sister. Since she can only speak “Pui pui”, she communicates by drawing pictures on her sketchbook. She comes often to Momotsuki Academy, but wouldn’t it be better if she went to kindergarten? Alien Captain and Subordinates – Secretly Monitoring the Earth Mysterious aliens who monitor the Earth. Becky’s a target who’s being inspected as a sample of Earthlings. Principal of Momotsuki Academy – An Unindentified and Enigmatic Person The principal of Momotsuki Academy. Even though he’s the headmaster of the academy, don’t mind the fact that he doesn’t seem like a person in charge. Professor – Becky’s Mischievous Teacher Becky’s teacher from her MIT years. Even though MIT is a university for technology, for some reason archeology seems to be his hobby. Filming Crew – Daily Hard-Working Behind-the-Scenes Assistants People who are the filming crew for Pani Poni Dash!. Apparently they work for a company called SHAFT.
